Fuel Cards
Independent fuel card reviews and comparisons
We don't take placement fees. Reviews compare programs on the criteria that change what you actually pay — not the ones in the marketing deck. Pair any review with the Fuel Card Payoff Calculator to test it against your own monthly gallons.
Disclosure: These reviews are based on publicly available information and editorial research, not on first-hand contract pricing. FuelHere does not currently accept placement fees from any provider. If we add an affiliate relationship for a card in the future, we'll disclose it on that review.
What we evaluate
- Per-gallon rebate, net of monthly and transaction fees
- Network coverage where your drivers actually fuel
- Purchase controls: time of day, fuel grade, gallons per day
- Reporting depth and integration with your accounting stack
- Credit terms vs. prepaid models, and the trade-offs of each
- Fraud protections and dispute handling, by program

Fuel card FAQ
- Does FuelHere take placement fees from fuel-card providers?
- Reviews are written independently. If we ever add an affiliate relationship for a card, we will disclose it on the review page itself — never silently.
- How do you decide which card is best for a fleet?
- There is no single best card. Network coverage, fee schedule, realized rebate, controls, reporting, and credit terms each matter differently depending on volume and routes. Use the comparison table plus the Fuel Card Payoff Calculator to evaluate against your own numbers.
- Why don't you publish exact rebate cents-per-gallon?
- Published rates are typically ceilings. Realized rebates depend on volume tier, merchant, fuel grade, and contract — so a single advertised number is misleading. We describe structure honestly and point readers to verify current rates with the provider.
